Neighbor or HOA complaint

Someone else complained — the van, the noise, the hallway — not the client saying your work was wrong. Change how you show up so it doesn’t land on them again. Neighbor text shows you’re handling the complaint, not ignoring it.

Say what you’ll do differently. Don’t argue with the neighbor in the text.

When to use this

The van

Parking, not the job quality.

Hi Jordan — a neighbor asked about the van in the driveway. I’ll park on the street next time unless you want me closer.

Noise hours

You can shift when the loud part happens.

The HOA emailed about the noise. I can work after 9, or I can skip the saw on this visit. Tell me which.

Tools in the hall

The building, not the finish of the work.

Someone in the building complained about tools in the hall. I’ll keep everything inside the unit from now on. Sorry that landed on you.

Noise / hours

You’ll adjust.

Hi Jordan — your neighbor mentioned the early drill noise. I’ll start after 9 on weekdays at your place from now on.

HOA rule

Compliance.

Thanks for forwarding the HOA note. I’ll use the visitor parking spot they named and keep the sidewalk clear when I’m unloading.

How to send it
