Job finished — completion message and photos

The visit is over. A short job finished text closes it: what you did, anything they should know, and that they can reply if something looks off.

Change the name and any details (key, rooms, homework) before you send.

When to use this

Done and locked up

Plain wrap-up after you leave.

Just finished up. Everything we planned is done. I locked up and left the key where we discussed. Text me if anything looks off.

Done, plus one note

You noticed something that isn’t urgent.

All set for today. I noticed the hallway light is flickering — happy to look at it next time if you want. I’ll send the invoice this afternoon.

Session wrapped

Tutoring or any appointment that ends with homework.

Session’s done. We went through the practice set and marked the two problems that still need work. Try those before Thursday and we’ll start there.

Invoice coming next

Work done; bill follows in a separate message.

Hi Jordan — finished for today. I’ll send the invoice to your email shortly. Reply if you want anything adjusted before I bill.

Ask them to glance over it

They weren’t home and should peek when they return.

Hi Alex — all done. When you’re back, take a quick look and text me if anything needs a touch-up. Key is back in the lockbox.

Send photos of the finished work

The text that goes with the pictures — handy when they aren’t home, or when a landlord or someone else needs to see it.

Here’s what it looks like

Send after you leave, with 2–4 photos.

Hi Jordan — job’s done. Here are a few photos so you can see it before you’re home. Text me if anything looks off.

Before and after

Use when you have a clear before shot.

Attached before/after of the hallway repair. Everything’s cleaned up and the area is ready to use. Let me know if you want any tweaks.

They asked for proof

Use when they want photos before paying.

Hi Alex — finished and locked up. Photos attached. Once you’ve looked, you can pay the invoice whenever you’re ready.

For the landlord

Third party needs them.

Photos of the completed work are attached. Feel free to forward to your landlord — say if you need higher-res files.
